Scott is a video producer and Cinematographer who has worked in film and video production in the triangle since 1989. After graduating with a communication degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania, north of Pittsburgh, he moved to North Carolina to pursue a film career. Scott worked on movies in Wilmington and learned about lighting from some amazing cinematographers before taking a position in a production company. There he shot and edited for productions across the country and across the world, from the discover channel to Burger King to America’s Most Wanted. From the production company he moved into the ad agency world, where he started up and managed a subsidiary production company. While there he produced many commercials for Subway, UNC, the State of NC and many other large companies. In 2008 Scott founded Rucci Productions to provide innovative, creative, and effective content to marketers and filmmakers in North Carolina and beyond. Rucci Productions has produced web and TV commercials, marketing support video, training and entertainment for many triangle companies. Clients include Lone Star Steakhouse, the NC State Fair, RDU, the Walk for Hope, UNC, Wake County Magnet Schools, Capital Bank, and Spirit Aerospace to name a few. Through Rucci Productions, Scott strives to bring the highest possible quality to every client. His career has spanned a wide range of production work, along the way he has worked in sound, lighting, camera, director, producer, and editor. This breadth of experience gives Scott a unique and thorough perspective on the creative use of filmmaking for creative and business projects.
