Jake Aull has 20 years marketing, branding and digital experience in Atlanta. He takes a strategic digital marketing and usability approach to web analysis and search engine optimization. He has a Masters of Science degree in Marketing from Georgia State University where he did a thesis research project on social media marketing. Jake is the author of WordPress SEO Success: Search Engine Optimization for Your WordPress Website or Blog, published by Pearson Prentice-Hall – their first book of its kind. He has also been GSUs first Social Media Marketing and SEO course writer and instructor since 2010, directing students to create new social channels driving measurable traffic to major brands. He brings in corporations and non-profits for real-world student projects in social media business research. He was a reviewer of, and wrote the instructors manual for, Pearson-Prentice Halls first Social Media Marketing text book. He is current Chair of the Atlanta Interactive Marketing Association Search Marketing special interest group, and was a co-founder and Chair of AiMA Social Media SIG, directing educational sell-out events. And co-founder of The Change Challenge, monthly digital marketing workshops for non-profits. Jake also holds a bachelors degree in graphic design from Savannah College of Art and Design and is currently the president of the Atlanta Alumni Chapter where he provides and promotes educational and networking events. He has been a speaker at WordCamps (an annual conference on WordPress) in both Raleigh and Atlanta, and is a digital marketing speaker for events and locations around Atlanta.
